The award winning Downhill Hostel is located on the coast of Northern Ireland, on the Downhill Beach near Castlerock, underneath the Mussenden Temple. This Victorian family home is an ideal base for backpackers and independent travelers to explore the Giants Causeway, Dunluce Castle and the North Coast. We welcome visitors from all over the world to experience the beauty and hospitality of Northern Ireland Hostels.

About Irish Holiday Hostels:

Downhill Hostel operates like a self-catering guesthouse providing accommodation for backpackers, families, couples, and small groups / youth groups in a family style environment. We have 2 small dorms for individual backpackers and 7 private rooms sleeping from 2-5 people depending on the room. Most of the rooms share the men’s and women’s washing facilities and two rooms have private washrooms. There is a well equipped kitchen, dining room, living room, laundry, internet area, reading area and garden for guests to share.
