For bookings at least 1 day in advance, we offer realtime secure confirmed reservations. Click on the green link on any page to be connected to our booking service. However you cannot make same day reservations through the website. For same day bookings please telephone the hostel. We update online availability season by season, so if you want to make a booking more than 2 months in advance it is worth sending us an email inquiry info@downhillhostel.com if you do not see availability online.

We also take bookings over the phone with credit or debit card details to secure reservations. Telephone Reception is open between 9am and 9pm (21:00)

Group Reservations:

It is possible to book the entire hostel as a group retreat centre family gatherings, parties, church/community groups etc. We offer group accommodation rates in the off season (October – Easter) please email or telephone us to discuss your needs and details.

Catering and Transportation:

We coordinate with local providers to arrange catering and group transportation on request. So if your group requires catering for breakfast, packed lunches or hot evening meals please let us know and we will get you a quotation. Some groups need transport to Carrick-a-rede rope bridge/Giant’s Causeway/Dunluce Castle/Bushmills Distillery or the Airport etc. please let us know and we will try to help.

Seasonal Policies:

Because weekends in the off season are popular for group bookings we open availability to individual bookings on these weekends 3 weeks before the date. The hostel is open year round, however we do sometimes take a family holiday in December and January, so please contact us before arriving even in these quiet months!
